Dubai luxury price drops
The AED buy tape — dirhams, not dollars.
Dubai is a different tape, and it stays in dirhams. On August 25 there were 3,428 active asking-price reductions, averaging −6.5 percent — AED 2.49 billion across 117 areas. We do not add that figure to the US dollars.
Downtown, the Marina, Palm Jumeirah, Business Bay: those are the doors most people open first. The cut is listing-side. It is not a Land Department close, and it is not a dollar headline.
This is the write-up of the August 25 freeze. The live Dubai listings are a different page. The Dubai market-data dashboard is the live tape.
